This is part two of the article entitled, “A Selection of Artworks: The Cross of Christ and The Crucified Christ.” There are two groups of faith expression artworks: 1) Artworks based on Galatians 6:14; and 2) Artworks based on the article entitled, “The Cross of Christ” and on Bible verses Isaiah 52:13-15.
Galatians 6:14 - “May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me and I to the world.” (NIV)
Isaiah 52:13-15 - “See, my servant will act wisely; he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted. Just as there were many who were appalled at him—his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any human being and his form marred beyond human likeness—so he will sprinkle many nations, and kings will shut their mouths because of him.
